The radar gauge antenna emits extremely narrow microwave pulses, which travel through space at the speed of light. When they hit the surface of the water being measured, some of the electromagnetic waves are reflected back and picked up by the antenna.The plateau series 26G radar water gauge USES a high-speed chip and special software to accurately identify the time interval between the electromagnetic wave emitted and the electromagnetic wave received. This time x the electromagnetic wave velocity ÷2= the distance from the radar antenna to the water surface.

Note:Use radar level meter timing to ensure that the highest water level cannot enter the blind area (shown in figure D).

Note: when a radar antenna emits microwave pulses, it has a certain transmitting Angle.There shall be no obstructions between the lower edge of the antenna and the surface of the medium under test, or in the area radiated by the microwave beam
