26G Water conservancy radar level meter

OVERVIEW

The radar gauge antenna emits extremely narrow microwave pulses, which travel through space at the speed of light. When they hit the surface of the water being measured, some of the electromagnetic waves are reflected  back and picked up by the antenna.The plateau series 26G radar water gauge USES a high-speed chip and special software to accurately identify the time interval between the electromagnetic wave emitted and the electromagnetic wave received. This time x the electromagnetic wave velocity ÷2= the distance from the radar antenna to the water surface.

Note:Use radar level meter timing to ensure that the highest water level cannot enter the blind area (shown in figure D).

Application characteristics of water conservancy and hydrology:

The radar level gauge recommended by the industry uses a 26GHz emission frequency and thus has：

• The beam Angle is small, the energy is concentrated, has the stronger anti-interference ability, has greatly improved the measurement accuracy and the reliability

• Antenna size is small, easy to install and add dust cover and other antenna protection device

• Light weight about 1KG, easy to install

• Measuring range up to 70 meters, covering large reservoirs and other water level measurement

• A variety of output circuit interfaces work with the acquisition system to provide either 485 signals to RTU or 4-20ma signals

• Pulse operation mode, radar water level meter transmitted power is very low, no harm to the human body and the environment

Installation

Before the installation

Please pay attention to the following to ensure the instrument can be installed correctly:Please allow enough installation space.

Please avoid strong vibration installation.

Note: when a radar antenna emits microwave pulses, it has a certain transmitting Angle.There shall be no obstructions between the lower edge of the antenna and the surface of the medium under test, or in the area radiated by the microwave beam
