Measuring principle

LK type mass flowmeter with double "Π" type sounding pipe to realize the differential signal detection, based on digital signal processor (DSP) is equipped with electronic switching device, sensor of digital closed loop control, digital signal processing, calculation and diagnostic functions in one, can online real-time measurement of fluid mass flow rate, density and temperature, has advantages of high accuracy and good reliability.Through RS485 interface (or HART interface) and direct communication with the computer, DCS, etc., in the special software environment, the user can directly on line node configuration, fault diagnosis and data recording.

2. LKD type mass flow meter

LKD mass flowmeter is a special mass flow sensor designed for the measurement of compressed natural gas (CNG). It can be used in any gas feeder, and can also be used as a special sensor for cars or light and heavy vehicles.

(2.1) Product features:

■Measurement accuracy: ±0.15%, customizable ±0.1%， gas ±0.35%～ ±0.5%

■Using frequency domain digital signal processing technology, the product has no time drift and temperature drift

■The system adopts digital closed-loop control technology with good stability and real-time feedback system damping

Performance parameter

Liquid pressure loss of the precision and curve, at 68 oF (20℃), smooth curve, such as shown in figure 2.

The pressure loss curve is based on a process fluid (water) with a density of 1g/cm³  (100kg/m³  ) and a dynamic viscosity of 1mPas.

The pressure loss curve was obtained at 250bar using LKD15 process fluid (natural gas) with a density of 200kg/m³ and a dynamic viscosity of 0.02mpa.s as the reference.

2. Pressure level

The pressure resistant design of the shell of explosion-proof products conforms to the provisions of clause 15.1 in GB 3836.2.The sensor has no pressure reduction due to process temperature.

(1) All joint grades are 5000 psi (345 bar) - joints SWG joints correspond to ASME B31.3, and SAE joints correspond to SAE J1453.

(2) The pressure rating of the add-on (female joint NPT's No. 12 O-ring surface seal) provided with process connection option option A.

(3) The flanges listed here are standard options. Other types of flange specifications are also available. For explosion-proof products, install the equipment on a pressure test stand, and pass 1.5 times the nominal pressure for 30 minutes.

3. Temperature and pressure compensation

Theoretical and experimental results show that the coriolis mass flowmeter will produce positive measurement error with the increase of fluid temperature. The relationship between error and temperature is a quadratic curve relationship, which can be simplified as a linear relationship within a specific temperature range.Paper was used to study the temperature compensation model, flow meter has never compensation relationship between the temperature and the precision of +0.05347%/℃ lower for compensation after -0.00625%/℃, compensation effect is remarkable.The measuring tube of coriolis mass flowmeter is stainless steel, generally 316L.A large number of experimental data show that the elastic modulus of stainless steel decreases with the increase of temperature.The following is the result of temperature compensation after testing by our R&D department.

Environmental restrictions

(1) The temperature limit will be further restricted by the certification of hazardous areas.

(2) The protection grade of non-explosion-proof products shall not be lower than IP65, and the protection grade of explosion-proof products shall not be lower than IP67, which shall be carried out according to the method specified in GB 4208.
