The NRD-3050 series of sensors are 26G high-frequency radar level measurement instruments, capable of measuring up to a maximum distance of 20 meters. The antenna has been further optimized, and the new fast microprocessor can perform signal analysis and processing at a higher rate, enabling the instrument to be used in complex measurement conditions such as reactors and liquid tanks. Due to the full protection measures adopted by this product, it has better measurement effects on corrosive liquids, steam, and volatile liquids
The radar level antenna emits a narrow microwave pulse, which is transmitted downward through the antenna. After the microwave contacts the surface of the measured medium, it is reflected back and received again by the antenna system, and the signal is transmitted to the electronic circuitry section to be automatically converted into a level signal (because the speed of microwave propagation is extremely fast, the time taken for the electromagnetic wave to reach the target and be reflected back to the receiver is almost instantaneous).

A Range setting B Low position adjustment C High Adjustment D Blind zone range
The reference surface for measurement is: the bottom surface of the thread or the sealing surface of the flange.
When using a radar level gauge, it is essential to ensure that the highest material level does not enter the measurement blind zone (the area indicated by D in the figure).
The antenna is small in size and easy to install. It is a non-contact radar with no wear and no pollution. It is anti-condensation, anti-corrosion and almost unaffected by changes in steam, temperature and pressure. Severe dust environments have little impact on the operation of the high-frequency level gauge.
With a shorter wavelength, it has better reflection on inclined solid surfaces.
The small beam angle and concentrated energy enhance the echo capability while also facilitating the avoidance of interference objects.
The measurement blind zone is smaller, and it can achieve good results even when measuring small tanks. With a high signal-to-noise ratio, it can still perform optimally even in fluctuating conditions. The high frequency makes it the best choice for measuring liquids and low dielectric constant media.
