The NDR80 series of radar level gauges are FMCW(Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave)radar products operating at 76-81GHz, supporting both 4-wire and 2-wire applications. With amaximum range of up to 120m and a blind zone as small as 8cm for some models, these devices areparticularly suitable for solid applications. Due to their higher operating frequency and shorterwavelength, they offer unique advantages in high-dust and harsh temperature environments (up to +200C). The instruments are available with either flange or threaded mounting options, ensuringeasy and convenient installation.
Frequency-modulated radar level gauge is a type of frequency-modulated radar-based level measurement instrument, featuring the following characteristics.

The radar level antenna emits a narrow microwave pulse, which is transmitted downward through the antenna. After the microwave contacts the surface of the measured medium, it is reflected back and received by the antenna system again. The signal is then transmitted to the electronic circuitry section and automatically converted into a level signal (because the speed of microwave propagation is extremely fast, the time it takes for the electromagnetic wave to reach the target and be reflected back to the receiver is almost instantaneous).
