The NRD-30 series radar level gauge emits extremely narrow microwave pulses. These pulses travel through space at the speed of light and upon encountering the solid being measured, a portion of the electromagnetic waves are reflected back and received by the antenna_The NRD-30 series radar level gauge utilizes a high-speed sampling chip and algorithm to accurately identify the time interval between the emitted and received electromagnetic waves. This time multiplied by the speed of electromagnetic waves and divided by 2 equals the distance from the radar antenna to the surface of the solid.
The following schematic diagram shows the meanings of various terms for instrument settings. The reference plane for measurement is: the bottom surface ofthe thread or the sealing surface ofthe flange.

A. Range setting B. Low limit adjustment C. High limit adjustment D. Blind zone range
Note: When using aradar level gauge, it is essential to ensure that the highest material level does not enter the measurementblind zone.
With a small beam angle, concentrated energy, and stronger anti-interference ability, it improves themeasurement accuracy and reliability.
By using external compressed air to blow and clean, the accumulation of dust on the radar antenna thatmay interfere with the measurement can be eliminated.
The measurement range can reach up to 70 meters, covering almost all silo measurements in industrialsites. With multiple output circuit interfaces, it can be compatible with acquisition systems andprovide a standard 4-20mA signal.
